Collaboration for a Brighter Future: Partnering to Upskill Africa

At the African Virtual Bridging School, we believe that collaboration is the key to unlocking potential. By partnering with various organizations, we work to connect like-minded institutions with AVBS, creating powerful opportunities to uplift and upskill communities across the African continent.

Our partnerships are built on shared goals — fostering education, driving innovation, and shaping a future where African youth are equipped to lead and thrive.

Introducing HP Otto Robotics

Through our partnership with Moravia Consulting in the Czech Republic, AVBS is proud to bring HP Otto Robotics to the African continent. HP Otto is a unique STEM+A tool designed to revolutionize classroom learning, combining robotics, engineering, electronics, coding, and design thinking into one fully customizable robot. This innovative technology allows students to engage in hands-on experiences that build critical future skills.
With HP Otto, students don’t just learn about AI, robotics, and coding — they experience the vital connection between action, thought, and reasoning. As they interact with the robot, they develop essential skills such as social skills, leadership in teams, media and information literacy, critical thinking, co-creation, creativity, flexibility, technology awareness, initiative, and effective communication.

By training teachers in STEAM education, we ensure that these valuable competencies are passed on to the next generation. This dynamic approach equips students not only with technical knowledge but also with the creativity and critical thinking needed to navigate an ever-evolving world.

If you're ready to embrace STEAM education and foster new competencies in your students, we invite you to connect with us. Let’s take this journey together, shaping a future where African youth are equipped to lead and innovate.

Introducing Cubetto

Alongside HP Otto, AVBS is excited to bring Cubetto to the African continent through our partnership with Moravia Consulting. Cubetto is a screen-free robot that introduces children to the basics of computer programming and computational thinking in a playful and engaging way. Designed specifically for early childhood education, Cubetto makes coding tangible and fun, allowing children to learn by thinking through doing.
Cubetto nurtures creative expression by encouraging children to solve problems and persist through challenges. It demystifies technology by making abstract concepts concrete, helping young minds grasp the logic behind programming without the need for screens. As children guide Cubetto through various tasks, they develop essential skills like logical reasoning, forward planning, and cause-and-effect thinking.

For schools, Cubetto provides a solution to the growing demand for digital literacy in early education. It supports teachers — even those without prior STEM experience — by offering a simple yet effective way to teach computational thinking. With its cross-curricular approach, Cubetto adapts to different learning levels, making it an inclusive tool for all students.

By using Cubetto, children build a strong foundation for future STEAM learning. Research shows that early exposure to computational thinking shapes problem-solving abilities and boosts cognitive development. More importantly, children learn best through hands-on play, which Cubetto brings to life.

If you're eager to explore how Cubetto can inspire young learners and equip your teaching staff with innovative tools, we invite you to connect with us. Let’s work together to spark curiosity and build future-ready skills across Africa.
