International Women Deliver Conference 2023 Empowers Rural Women
Mariam Khan, the President of the International Women Deliver Conference, continues her
unwavering commitment to empower women worldwide through another successful virtual expo.
The 2023 conference has seen participation from over 70 countries, uniting women in their pursuit
of economic empowerment and overcoming geographical challenges in rural areas.
The core objective of this virtual gathering is to shine a spotlight on women's work and harness the
power of rural innovation to tackle supply chain limitations and boost production. As the conference
enters its third round, a broad coalition of organizations, including the American International
Education Federation (AMIEF), Community Development Foundation (CDF), and Global Women
Development Network (GWDN), is set to engage with over 70 countries and connect with more than
300 women leaders and their representatives.
The conference's major focus centres on rural entrepreneurs, with the hashtag #puttingruralsfirst
symbolizing their commitment to prioritize rural development. From March 4th to March 8th, 2023,
IWDC-23 aims to explore the untapped potential of rural areas for global development.
The conference brings together women leaders from across the world, representing ten defined
development sectors, with an emphasis on achieving gender balance in these sectors. The goal is to
ensure equal opportunities, free from stereotypes, violence, and stigma, offering dignity, peace, and
prosperity to women.
As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th, this weeklong global initiative seeks to
elevate the rural economy by fostering sustainable projects that drive change in innovative ways.
Post-IWDC-23, there will be opportunities for collaborative progress, a collective call for change, and
celebrations of the extraordinary role played by ordinary women in their communities and countries.
The impact of last year's International Women Deliver Conference in 2022 has paved the way for
IWDC-23, offering boundless opportunities for those who participate. Your presence at IWDC-23 can
further enhance the event's success and scope, driving innovation in community services, education,
agriculture, business, law, tourism, peace, women's rights, health and well-being, safety and
security, and women in investments.
IWDC-23 isn't just a weeklong conference; it's a global gathering of women from diverse nations,
tribes, communities, and languages. It embodies the spirit of women's economic development by
women, for women, and holds the promise of a brighter, more equitable future for all.
AVBS participated in this event under the Education sector and did a presentation focusing on
educating disadvantaged youth and women with new technologies and knowledge, based on their
own competences. Everything AVBS does is based on exprobico’s competence checks or assessments
and on understanding your natural, inborn skills, talents, and abilities.
AVBS motto: Doing the right training, with the right people, at the right time where it is needed the
most and for attendees to walk away with really having learnt something that can make an impact
on their lives and communities.
The overall approach of AVBS is following the Gestalt practice of living and working in pursuit of
holism.
